A beautiful oil on panel painting of Afghan men drinking tea in the desert. The elegant strokes and expressive colours set the scene for a good conversation. 

The painting is signed Anzurger and dated Kabul ’81.

A beautiful bronze and calamine sculpture of an Orientalist explorer or hunter by Emille Coriolan Guillemin ( France 1841- 1907).

The sculpture is signed on the lower right: Guillemin France. The stamp of the foundry is at the bottom and in the center.

Ottoman depiction of the beautiful Kaaba in an openworked frame of lime wood.

Just below the image of the Kaaba is the Kalima Shahadah, written in beautiful script and the inscription "Hanif".

Handwritten Ottoman Quran written by Huseyin bin Ali, student of Al- Haj Muhammed Es-Sarai.

Some of the pages are elaborately illuminated with gold. The surah heads are gold and embellished with botanical forms. Several pages have beautiful intricate medallions. It has its original leather binding which is decorated with gold. It is written in black ink in Naskh script.

Handwritten Dalil al-Khairat containing dua and several Quran verses, including Al-Fatiha, Yassin, Al-Naba, Attin, Al-Falak and the beginning of Al-Bakara. 

All pages have a gold ruler. There are several decorated pages. The decorations on the first page are very elaborate and colourful. 

It has its original leather binding that is in need of repair.

A very rare piece of Quran or poetry in black ink Kufic script. The leather parchment has 10 lines on each side. This manuscript probably originates from Bukhara or Samarkand.

Ottoman Calligraphy from the 19th century by calligrapher Shukri Suleiman.

He was taught by the famous calligrapher Youssef Al-Barry.

Handwritten Ottoman Quran written by Mehmet Şerif Hilmia student of Ahmet Vasfi.

All pages are ruled in red ink. Several pages are decorated with colourful medallions and some are decorated more elaborately. It has its original leather binding including the miklep,

Condition: some pages at the end of the book are damaged, the binding is in good condition. All over the book is in good condition considering its age. 

A Hukka bidri from India, a candle stick made of iron with silver inlays.

These handwritten pages were once part of a larger manuscript. 

It contains a treatise of Sufism in the form of questions and answers.  All of the pages have a golden ruler, one of the pages is beautifully decorated in gold with colourful flowers.

Condition: there are some smudges but they are in overall good condition

Handwritten Ottoman Dalli- Al- Khariraat. It contains Surahs, Hadiths, including Esmaü'l Hüsna and Esma-i Nebi. 

All pages are decorated golden ruler, chapter heads are indicated by gold or orange and gold plate. It also has several drawings of significant Islamic features. It has its original leather binding.

Condition: most pages are in reasonable good condition for its age. The first page and some of the pages of the Surah section are missing. It has its original leather binding with mikleb but this is in need of repair.

This is a complete handwritten Quran. Just the first page with the name of the writer is missing. It is written in black ink with Naskh script. All the pages have a gold ruler and the chapter heads are indicate with gold plates. Some pages are elaborately and colourfully decorated.

This Dalli - Al-Khairaat was written by Ibrahim Effendi. It contains Enam, Yasin, Vakıa, Mulk, and several short surahs, prayers, and dua’s for forgiveness.

The first two pages are illuminated with gold. All pages have rulers in red ink. The book is bound in its original leather binding.

Condition: the book is clearly used and the cover and some pages have suffered damage. In all it is in reasonably good condition for its age. 

The author of the book is Khalil bin Mohamed, and it is titled Dakaiko Al-Akhbaar, News facts. In the book are Sufi stories and verses. 

All pages have rulers in red ink. It has its original leather binding.

Condition: Some wear and tear and some damage to the binding, but in good condition considering its age

This Ottoman prayer book contains daily prayers and prayers for troubles and devotions. The book has a leather binding and is handwritten.

Condition: Overall good condition for its age, although in the middel and at the end there are some missing pages.

A very rare and important part of the Quran from the Safavid period. The manuscript is written in Naskh script. All the pages are gold illuminated and have beautiful and intricately formed medallions. A great amount of artful work had gone in to creating this wonderful pages. The pages are newly bound with tissue paper added between the pages for extra protection.

This rose coloured quartz (possibly Najaf) is adorned with impressive handmade engravings. 

These engravings are a prayer that protects the holder from the evil eye and envy. On one edge there is the phrase "He says Be, and it is”.

An Ottoman calligraphy, written in black ink by Hassid Efendi.

It contains a poem about the prophet Mohammed and verse 107 of Sura Al- Anbiya ( 'and we have send you only as a mercy to the worlds').

This is an authentic hand made Ikat Chapan from Uzbekistan, probably Samarkand or Boukhara.

On the outside it has a vibrant green velvet fabric with traditional embroidery around the rims of the coat. The inside is a multicoloured mesmerising wonder.

This is an English Staffordshire earthenware statue. It depicts sultan Abdulmacid I, queen Victoria and Napoleon III as a commemoration of their meeting. 

This 19th century is 27,5 cm high and in very good condition. 

This grand standing wooden horse is decorated with oriental ornaments in wood and metal. 

The horse is from the 19-20th century.

Dimensions: 41 by 33 by 9 cm. It is in good condition.

A wonderful 20th century Iznik ceramic, hand painted on six tiles. 

The calligraphy in black ink is surah Al-Fatiha. The decorations consist of flowers and roses typical for Iznik ceramics. 

Dimensions: 58 by 38 cm without frame. It is in very good condition. 

Two early 20th century paintings. Both are aquarelles. One depicting a group of men conversing under a tree. The other shows a mosque with people around it. 

They are signed by P. Grimaldi. 

The paintings are framed and in good condition.

 Dimensions: 50,5 by 41 cm with frame, 30 by 29 cm without frame. 

This is an Arabic manuscript with a marbled cover.  It is handwritten in the Nashk script, in black and gold ink. All pages have a gold ruler, and the title pages are decorated in golden floral designs. 

It was written in 1214 AH (1798 AD). The author is Houssin Bin Ahmed, famous for zain zadah.

The book has approximately 100 pages and is 23 by 14 cm. 

For its age it is in reasonable condition. Although the paper was damaged by a book worm, this is mostly in the margins of the page of about 10 pages. 

The name of the manuscript is "Taalik Al-fawadhil ala Iraab al-Awamil" (تعليق ألفواضل على إعراب ألعوامل). A valuable book that describes all types of syntax in the Arabic language and how to use them. The writer used a simple and accurate method, as he did not leave any part of the syntax without mentioning it. A rare book that is unparalleled among the rest of the syntax books

This very nicely decorated little book from the 18^th/19^th century, contains the last verses of Surah Al-Baqara and the complete sura Al-Mulk.

It is handwritten in the Nashk script, in black and gold ink. All pages have a gold ruler, and the title pages are decorated in golden floral designs. 

The book has 11 pages and is 14 by 9 cm.

It is in very good condition, it does have a new cover.

This is a beautiful example of a Dailil Al Khiraat. It mostly contains dua’s for the prophet and several suras like Al-Yasin and Al-Rahman.

The book has its original leather binding. It is handwritten in the Nashk script, in black and gold ink. Most pages have a gold ruler, and the title pages are decorated in golden floral designs. 

The book has approximately 240 pages and is 13 by 8,5 cm.

It is from the 18^th/19^th century and in reasonably good condition. It has some small damage on a couple of pages and one page that was torn and restored with tape. One page is missing. 

A very beautifully decorated handwritten, complete Quran, by sheikh Hafith Mostafa Bin Hafith Ahmed Koubatki.  

It is handwritten in the Nashk script, in black and gold ink. All pages have a gold ruler, and the sura heads are elaborately embellished with gold plate and floral designs. Some pages also have beautiful medallions in the margins of the page. 

It has its original leather binding that is decorated with gold medallion. 

The book from the 18^th/19^th century and is in almost pristine condition.

It has 606 pages and is 18 by 12 cm.

This Quran is handwritten in the Naskh script. All the sura heads are elaborately decorated with gold plate. All pages are decorated with a gold ruler and several pages have highly decorative medallions in the margins of the page. 

It has its original leather binding, that still shows remnants of gold decorations. The binding has been repaired.

The book is from the 17^th/18^th century. It is a complete Quran and has 630 pages and is 18 by 12 cm.

It is in good condition, though 3 pages are in need of repair.

This Anatolian manuscript is handwritten in Ottoman and Arabic by Ali Bin Mahmoud. 

It is dated 1143 AH (1730 AD). The book is about Fiqh and Hadith about medicine, love etc. 

The book has its original leather binding and is written in black and red ink.

It has 400 pages and is 19 by 12 cm.

It is in overall good condition though the binding has been repaired.

A nice set of four Indian or Persian 20^th century paintings on silk. All depicting people visiting their Maharaja or other dignitary. 

They are without frame, in very good condition and 22 by 26 cm.  

A 19th century North African Purchase deed. Handwritten with black ink.

In good condition considering it's age. 

This beautiful painting is a 20^th century oil on canvas of sultan Abdulmecid. 

Dimensions:  65 by 40 cm. 

It is very good condition. 

A is handwritten calligraphy from the Ottoman era. The texts are of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. They were written by calligrapher Sheikh Helmy in the year 1309 AH (1893 AD). 

Dimensions: 47 by 39 cm. 

It is in good condition.  

Ottoman period calligraphy in Celi Thuluth - Nesih.

The calligraphy is by Halil Effendi and Reza Effendi. Reza Effendi was a famous caligrapher and was Halil Effendi's teacher. 

The illuminated frame is by Tezhip Safiye Ocaklı.

It is in good condition.

This is a framed Thuluth calligraphy sheet. It is dated 1364 AH (1948 AD ).

Handwritten in gold is verse 16 of Surat Al-Hijr.

The postcards are from the 19th/20th century, all are 9 by 14 cm and in good condition.

These are photographs of the cave of which it is told that 7 young people slept for 309 years. Yemliha, Mekselina, Mislina, Mernus, Debernus, Sazenus and Kefestatayyus and their dog Kitmir slept and avoided the Roman prosecution of Christians.

The photographs are form the 19th/20th century, 12 by 17 cm and in good condition.
