19th century leather suitcase

This impressive Ottoman period, leather suitcase was probably used by regimental soldiers whilst on procession. The case is made of leather and strengthened with wooden frame on the bottom. The inside is lined with a fabric with a stripped design. On the sides there are leather grips to carry the case. And on the back, it has leather straps to fasten it to something. On the lid there is the original metal clasp.

Period: Ottoman, 19^th century

Dimensions: 48 by 69 by 39 cm

Condition: Although it shows signs of use it is in very good condition.
