A beautiful 19th century Indian or Persian sword in brown leather scabbard. The blade has a serrated edge. The pommel is in the form of a ram’s head. The grip is intricately decorated with leaflike forms. The blade is 82 cm long and 4,5 cm wide at the top. The grip is 16 by 10,5 cm and the Rams head is 4 by 2,5 cm. It has a brown leather scabbard.
A 19th century shield decorated with gilded Islamic inscriptions. It is in good condition. The diameter is: 50 cm.
18-19th century Ottoman Yataghan with several engravings in the blade. It is good condition. The blade is 75 cm, the grip is 12 cm. it is in a black leather scabbard.
19th century Indian sword in very good condition. The total length is 97cm, the blade is 77 cm and the grip12 cm.
This helmet is exactly like the ceremonial helmet of Sultan Fatih Mehmet worn during his conquest of Istanbul. The original is exhibited at the Military Museum of Harbiye.
On the helmet there are the Surah of the Conquest (Al-Fatih)(سورة ألفتح) and the names of the four Caliphs. The calligraphy was by İsmail Hakkı Altunbezer, one of the late Ottoman calligraphers. The art of illumination was used in the decorations. It is adorned with stones of turquoise. A 22 micron coating has been applied on the golden helmet. The helmet is in very good condition.

Two axes made of copper, decorated in silver. One is of Persian heritage, the other Mughal. Both decorated with etchings. Some text mostly figurative.

A beautiful 18/19th century Ottoman Yatagan. As custom to many Yatagan swords, it has a bone grip. The grip is decorated with red stones. The ricasso is decorated with metal onlays and red stones. The scabbard is leather with a brass or copper chape and locket.

This rare oval-shaped powder flask has a wooden body covered in leather. The front part is finely engraved with geometric motifs. Some of the once vibrant colours are still visible. The rear part is natural leather with leather stitching around the circumference. At the top end there are two metal rings with a leather strap as a handgrip. On the side it has a iron tapered cone nozzle. Origin is probably the Balkan.

Condition: The knive has obviously been used and some of the writing has been rubed of, otherwise it is in good condition.
