This is a wonderful small Islamic, Persian, Brass Globe with Arabic script. It's beautifully decorated with intricate etchings of text and figures. The sphere is perched on a three legged stand.

A Persian, Islamic brass globe with Arabic script. The sphere is perched on a four legged stand. All over it is beautifully decorated with intricate etchings of text and figures. A nice object in which art and science are wonderfully integrated. 

It is in overall good condition, however one of the legs is broken of. 

Globe diameter: 16 cm. Height with stand: 24 cm. 

A beautiful 19/20th century Persian or Ottoman astrolabe. It is decorated with silver, foliage designs and Arabic inscriptions. It consists of four parts. It is made of bronze and in very good condition.

Dimensions: hight 25 cm, diameter 19 cm,  thick 1 cm.

This solid bronze statue is akin to the immens statue of Ulug Bek, son of Timur at the Gur Emir  Mausoleum in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Especially the facial expression is a good likeness.

A 20th century Ottoman or Persian astrolabe.  Itis hand made and gilded with 18 k gold. It is in good condition. The dimensions are 10 by 7 by 1,5 cm.

Seven Tunisian stamps of Paintings by famous Tunisian painters, including Ammar Farhat, Yahia Turki and A. Debbeche. They are unused and in good condition. 

Three nice looking 19th century Ottoman Pasha coats. One with two rows of buttons and two with one row of buttons. All are in reasonably good condition for their age but in need of repair. 

Beautiful 19th century painting of Mecca on ceramic with several Arabic texts. It is in good condition. The ceramic is 40 by 30,5 by 1,5 cm. 

This wonderful and unique object is a hand made Kaaba key. This is a likeness to the key of the most Holy place in the Muslim world. The key is decorated all over with intricate silver designs and Arabic texts. A true masterpiece! At 46 by 11,5 cm it is large and heavy. It is in very  good condition and a proud piece to exhibit anywhere. 

This helmet is exactly like the ceremonial helmet of Sultan Fatih Mehmet worn during his conquest of Istanbul. The original is exhibited at the Military Museum of Harbiye. 

On the helmet there are the Surah of the Conquest (Al-Fatih)(سورة ألفتح) and the names of the four Caliphs. The calligraphy was by İsmail Hakkı Altunbezer, one of the late Ottoman calligraphers. The art of illumination was used in the decorations. It is adorned with stones of turquoise. A 22 micron coating has been applied on the golden helmet. The helmet is in very good condition.

A long  in turquoise /white silk. It is  decorated with birds, flowers and landscape motifs. It has pockets and is without clasp. It is in very good condition. The dimensions are 55 cm for the sleeve length of 57 cm and a total length of 105 cm.

Embroidery  of an Orientalist scene. Depicted is a market street with travelers and a Mosque in the distance. It is set in a wooden frame and in good conditio. The dimensions are 73 cm by 37 cm with frame and 67 by 31 cm without frame. 

A rare 19th-20th century beautiful Persian or Ottoman astrolabe. It is decorate with silver leaf-like designs and Arabic inscriptions. It has five parts. It made of bronze and in very good condition. 29 cm high, 20 cm diameter and 1 cm thick.

A gouache painting by Aly ben Salem. In very good condition. Dimenssions without frame 35 by 17cm. With frame 50 by 32 cm.

Handmade Ottoman jacket. It is made from deep red velvet and embroidered with cold coloured thread. The decorations are a flourish design with stars around the bottom of the jacket and sleeves.

A rare 19/20th century Islamic Turkmen Buzkashi saddle from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan. 

In good condition. Dimensions: back to front 57 cm, left to right 33 cm, hight 31 cm.

Leather, Ottoman period, brocaded wallet. When opened up it folds out with several compartments in red leather. The interior flaps are decorated with cut-outs. 

The wallet is in good condition and 16 by 12 cm.

Leather, Ottoman period, brocaded wallet. It has two pockets on the inside that is lined in red leather. It closes with a flower formed metal button. 

On the flap of the wallet there is Arabic calligraphy.

It is in good condition and 9,5 by 7,5 cm.

A beautiful handmade Qajar mirror from the early 19th century. It is rectangular made of paper-mâché and painted in polychrome with decorations of several colourful and animated scenes with different characters.

These are photographs of the cave of which it is told that 7 young people slept for 309 years. Yemliha, Mekselina, Mislina, Mernus, Debernus, Sazenus and Kefestatayyus and their dog Kitmir slept and avoided the Roman prosecution of Christians.

The photographs are form the 19th/20th century, 12 by 17 cm and in good condition.

A 6^th century AH (12th century AD) bronze talismanic tool. It has a rectangular-section body that ends in an inverted teardrop-shaped finial on one end and with a round plate on the other. The body is intricately embellished with Quran and Dua inscriptions, including a part of sura al-Araaf, verse 54.

Dimension: 6,9 by 27,5 cm. It weighs 365 gr.

It is in good condition, especially considering its age. 

This is a rare example of a 11th to 12th century AH (17th to 18th century AD) magic bowl. An especially captivating work of art that has been crafted to protect and ward off fear, evil, and demons. The bowl features a broad, deep body with a rounded base and a central raised boss, all of which have been adorned with intricate and highly ornamented designs. 

The bowl's interior is particularly stunning, etched with dozens of panels and cartouches that feature intricate Quranic inscriptions and symbols. These designs are Talismanic, they are believed to hold magical powers, capable of warding off evil spirits and providing a sense of protection to the owner. 

The Quranic texts on the outside and inside of the bowl are from several suras. Including verse 110 of sura Al-Bakara, verse 4 and 15 of sura Al-Mouzamil, verse 29 of sura Al-Nisaa and sura Al-Alak.

Islamic magic bowls have a long and storied history, stretching back centuries to the heart of the Islamic world. They were believed to have been used by the wealthy and powerful, who sought to protect themselves and their families from harm. They were also used by those who were ill or suffering from mental health issues, as a form of spiritual healing. 

Dimensions: 8,5 by 20 cm and 1,78 kg. It is in very good condition. 

This 11^th to 12^th century AH (17^th to18^th century AD) circular plate has a serrated edge and features a fine calligraphy inscription in the central recess. The rest of the interior surface is adorned with eight cartouches, each showcasing a seated figure holding instruments and other objects. Between the cartouches are depictions of four-legged animals facing the center of the plate, and along the outer edge runs a decorative band of vegetal and floral decorations. 

The intricate and skillful execution of the Arabic / Persian script reflects the sacred nature of this artform and the deep respect for the written word in Islamic culture. Calligraphy is not merely a form of writing but an expression of the divine presence in all aspects of life, and the use of this artform on the tray elevates its significance beyond mere decoration. 

Dimensions: 3 by 33 cm and weighs 750 gr. It is in very good condition.

This Louis Philippe pendule is gilded and patinated bronze. It shows an Arabic knight on horseback. 

The dimensions are: 51,5  by 32 by 11 cm. It is in very good condition. 

A rare naval Sextant from the Ottoman periode.

This instrument was used by sailors to find direction on the open seas. It is made of bronze, with numbers and degrees in Ottoman.

The dimensions are 12 by 12 cm.

These four black and white photographs depict several perspectives of Mecca. Two centering on the Kaaba. One showing the holy al-Haram As-Sharif with the Kaaba in its center. And one of them probably showing the Medina. 

The dimensions without frame: 18 by 9,5 cm, 17 by 13 cm, 18 by 12 cm and 14 by 13 cm.

This is a pair of Ottoman period scissors from the 19^th century. The scissors are long and elegant and are decorated with beautiful etchings.

Although one of the handles of the scissors is broken, they are in good condition for their age.  

The scissors are 25 cm long.

This museum quality grand, Islamic Mughal style Indian box is handmade of natural camel bone.

It is engraved with bird images and Quran calligraphy and has a seal of Mohd.

It is dated 1313 AH (1897 AD).

The piece is in very good condition with a few well-crafted restorations. 

The dimensions are 25 by 17,5 by 17 cm.  

A 20^th century model of the Taj Mahal mosque. It is crafted from wood and metal.

The model is in very good condition and 26 by 25 by 28 cm.

This beautiful representation of the al-Aqsa Mosque is made from mother of pearl. Around the mosque there is the text of Surat al-Israa, verse one.

The top of the mosque can be flipped open to reveal a red velvet container to preserve a keepsake or jewelry. 

The Ottoman periode piece is in very good condition although it is missing the crescent moon on top of the dome.

The dimensions are 20,5 by 20,5 by 18 cm.

This symbolic hand of Fatima is made of wood and has engravings in gold over de front of it. The text on the hand are two verses from Surat Al-Hachr, verses 20 and 21. A supplication (dua) is also written on it that protects a person from envy and the evil eye.

It is in very good condition and the dimensions are 8 by 9 cm.

These 16 photographs are of several Mosques in the Middle East. The black and white images are from the 20^th century. Printed on thick paper they are in good condition although probably not as clear as they once were. 

The dimensions are 17 X 13 cm.

This photograph shows a rare view of a flooded Mecca Al-Mukarramah during that historical Wednesday in 1941 AD. 

The photograph is in good condition and 25 by 33 cm.

A big sized, 20th century, bronze Astrolabe. 

The diameter is 26 cm.

This handmade (jewelry) box is elaborately decorated with mosaic, inlaid with mother of pearl. The inside of the box is lined with red velvet. The box was made in Egypt in the 20^th century.

The box is 30 x 15.5 cm and was damaged in transport. The condition of the box in generally good with some damages (see pictures).

An antique Mamluk desk set from the late 19^th to the beginning of the 20^th century. 

All three items are made of brass and inlaid with silver. They are decorated with Arabic and floral designs. The origin of the set is the Middle East, probably Syria.

The desk set was once part of the collection of Dr Joseph Touma, USA.

A poem with an Ottoman Tughra, signed by Ahmed bin Ahmed Almaybari.

The piece is from the 19^th century, 48 x 30,5 cm and in good condition. 

An antique dark walnut box, completely handmade. The lacquered finish is embellished with precious geometric mother-of-pearl decorations. The carving shows skilled craftsmanship.

The box dates from the late 19^th to early 20^th century. The origin is probably the Middle East.

The box is 49 cm wide, 22 cm deep and 20 in height.
