A 19th century tapestry depicting a figural scene. At the centre there is a mosque with Arabic text. It is said to be marked by Chauhan. The tapestry is in good condition and 19 by 127 cm.
A 19th century hand made Orientalist carpet . The figural carpet depicts a man and a woman, possibly just married. It is 154 by 94 cm and in good condition.
A long in turquoise /white silk. It is decorated with birds, flowers and landscape motifs. It has pockets and is without clasp. It is in very good condition. The dimensions are 55 cm for the sleeve length of 57 cm and a total length of 105 cm.
Embroidery of an Orientalist scene. Depicted is a market street with travelers and a Mosque in the distance. It is set in a wooden frame and in good conditio. The dimensions are 73 cm by 37 cm with frame and 67 by 31 cm without frame.
A large impressive and beautiful, 20th century Islamic, hand-crafted embroidery. The intricate embroidery is the result of a labor of love by several people spending months working on it. The texts are embroidered in gilded bronze.
FYI: the colour difference in the pictures is due to lighting. The color in the first and third picture are closest to the original.

This is a wonderful handmade embroidered Sitar. Hours of work by several skilled artists made this likeness to the Curtain of the Chamber of Felicity. The original of which is hanging in the Medeniyetleri Islam Muzesi in Istanbul.
This sitar has a vibrant red base colour and is embroidered with gold coloured copper thread. The calligraphy on the top says:. May peace and blessings be upon you, o Imam of the pious (al-salato wa as-salamo alaika ya imamo al-motaquin). Underneath there are two cartouches with the testimony (shahadda) 'There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God’.

This is a very rare piece of magnificence. The Hizaam is similar to the Hizaam of the holy Kaaba. On it, embroidered in gilded bronze lettering, are verses (see last last picture): 1) Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 127. 2) Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 128.
It was handmade with great craftsmanship. A craft that is hundreds of years old. The embroidery is on mecca cloth, like that which is used for the Kaaba.

A 20th century, Islamic embroidery for a door frame. It is decorated with several Islamic inscriptions in copper thread.
In very good condition. Dimensions: 240 cm high, 150 cm wide.

This framed embroidery shows an Oriental Scene depicting a sultan in his Palace.
Dimensions: 84 by 67 cm. The embroidery is in vert good condition, the frame is damaged.

Handmade Ottoman jacket. It is made from deep red velvet and embroidered with cold coloured thread. The decorations are a flourish design with stars around the bottom of the jacket and sleeves.

This Persian Kalamkari textile has Islamic calligraphy around the borders. In the centre there are botanical decorations with wonderful leaves and flowers.

Two 19th century Ottoman Yastiks.
The embroidery consists of bush velvet (Bursa) on an off white background. The decoration are of a medallion and ribbons of botanical forms.

Condition: some small damage, mainly in the form of wear, but in overall good condition.
This is an authentic hand made Ikat Chapan from Uzbekistan, probably Samarkand or Boukhara.
On the outside it has a vibrant green velvet fabric with traditional embroidery around the rims of the coat. The inside is a multicoloured mesmerising wonder.

This Kashmir shawl from North India, is a hand-woven square in earth toned colored wool. It has a symmetrical design radiating around a black center.
The shawl is 130 by 130 cm and in good condition with some ware in the center.
A beautiful, colorful, handmade, embroidery with texts from the Quran and the names of Allah. It was made in the 18th to 19th century.
The heritage is probably Ottoman but could also be Pakistan or India.
The wall hanging is in good general condition for its age, it does show signs of use. It is 66 by 121 cm.
On the wall hanging is written:
Outside border (yellow embroidery) Sura Al-Bakara verse 144, 150, 151 and 152. Inside border (pink embroidery): sura Al-Bakara, verse 185, sura Fossilat, verse 2 and sura Al-Mouzamil, verse 20. In the center (yellow embroidery): sura Al-Bakara, verse 255.
Orientalist tapestry panel from the 19th century. It is the embodiment of an oriental market and decorated with multiple beautiful colors.
The piece is 49 by 138 cm and in good condition.
