This Persian astronomical globe, made of copper, is elaborately decorated with human and animal forms representing the astrological signs. Important places on the globe are inlaid with silver dots.

This is a wonderful small Islamic, Persian, Brass Globe with Arabic script. It's beautifully decorated with intricate etchings of text and figures. The sphere is perched on a three legged stand.

A Persian, Islamic brass globe with Arabic script. The sphere is perched on a four legged stand. All over it is beautifully decorated with intricate etchings of text and figures. A nice object in which art and science are wonderfully integrated. 

It is in overall good condition, however one of the legs is broken of.

A beautiful 19/20th century Persian or Ottoman astrolabe. It is decorated with silver, foliage designs and Arabic inscriptions. It consists of four parts. It is made of bronze and in very good condition.

Dimensions: hight 25 cm, diameter 19 cm,  thick 1 cm.

This solid bronze statue is akin to the immens statue of Ulug Bek, son of Timur at the Gur Emir  Mausoleum in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Especially the facial expression is a good likeness. 

The 37 cm wide, 28 cm deep and 61 cm high. It is 62 kg. Please make sure to check the shipping costs before bidding. 

This wonderful vibrant painting is by the famous Tunisian painter Jellal ben Abdallah (Tunis 1921-2017). It is called Femme de profil. The gouache on paper is in very good condition. Signed on the bottom right. The dimensions are 25,5 by 15 cm without frame. 

This wonderful landscape painting is by the famous painter Alexandre Roubtzoff. This colourful outlook is of Thuburnica inTunisia. Roubtzoff was born in St Petersburg, Russia (1884) and spent most his adult life in Tunisia. Where he died in 1949. 

The painting is in  good condition. It is 18 by 27 cm without frame and 23 by 33  cm without frame. 

A 19th century tapestry depicting a figural scene. At the centre there is a mosque with Arabic text. It is said to be marked by Chauhan. The tapestry is in good condition and 19 by 127 cm. 

A 20th century oil on canvas painting. It depicts the Liberation of Istanbul. The painting is in good condition. It is 70,5 by 60,5 cm with frame and 49 by 39 without frame. 

This calligraphy is painted on a long scroll made of authentic paper. The text is in black inc which is adorned with gold decorations. They are talismanic, in that the content is said to have healing and or protective powers.

The scroll is 9 by 80 cm and in very good condition. 

A 18-19th century silver Ottoman ring with a red stone. The silver is decorated with etchings and the stone is engraved with Islamic text. It is in good condition. The dimensions are: the stone 2,5 by 1,5 cm  and the ring 3 by 3,7. Ring size: 10.

A pair of 20th century Ottoman or Persian Quadrant Astrolabes. They are in very good condition. Dimensions are 24,5 by 24,5 cm.

A beautiful 19th century Indian or Persian sword in brown leather scabbard. The blade has a serrated edge. The pommel is in the form of a ram’s head. The grip is intricately decorated with leaflike forms. The blade is 82 cm long and 4,5 cm wide at the top. The grip is 16 by 10,5 cm and the Rams head is 4 by 2,5 cm. It  has a brown leather scabbard.

A 20th century Ottoman or Persian astrolabe.  Itis hand made and gilded with 18 k gold. It is in good condition. The dimensions are 10 by 7 by 1,5 cm.

A beautiful 18-19th century talismanic shirt. This Ottoman talismanic shirt is hand made. The proces takes several year to complete a shirt. The shirt was made for an importent man in the Ottoman empire. It was used to give protection to the person wearing during a war. The Islamic texts on the shirt are said to have healing and protective properties. 

The shirt is in good condition. It is 99 cm long and 105 cm wide (arm span).

Seven Tunisian stamps of Paintings by famous Tunisian painters, including Ammar Farhat, Yahia Turki and A. Debbeche. They are unused and in good condition. 

A 19th century shield decorated with gilded Islamic inscriptions. It is in good condition. The diameter is: 50 cm.

18-19th century Ottoman Yataghan with several engravings in the blade. It is good condition. The blade is 75 cm, the grip is 12 cm. it is in a black leather scabbard.

Three nice looking 19th century Ottoman Pasha coats. One with two rows of buttons and two with one row of buttons. All are in reasonably good condition for their age but in need of repair. 

Two 19th century Orientalist paintings.  The paintings are oil on canvas. One depicts a man roasting chestnuts and the other a man smoking a pipe. The paintings are in good condition. The dimensions are 33 by 26,5 cm with frame and 24 by 17,5 without frame. 

A 19th century hand made Orientalist carpet . The figural carpet depicts a man and a woman, possibly just married. It is 154 by 94 cm and in good condition.

Beautiful 19th century painting of Mecca on ceramic with several Arabic texts. It is in good condition. The ceramic is 40 by 30,5 by 1,5 cm. 

This wonderful and unique object is a hand made Kaaba key. This is a likeness to the key of the most Holy place in the Muslim world. The key is decorated all over with intricate silver designs and Arabic texts. A true masterpiece! At 46 by 11,5 cm it is large and heavy. It is in very  good condition and a proud piece to exhibit anywhere. 

19th century Indian sword in very good condition. The total length is 97cm, the blade is 77 cm and the grip12 cm.

This helmet is exactly like the ceremonial helmet of Sultan Fatih Mehmet worn during his conquest of Istanbul. The original is exhibited at the Military Museum of Harbiye. 

On the helmet there are the Surah of the Conquest (Al-Fatih)(سورة ألفتح) and the names of the four Caliphs. The calligraphy was by İsmail Hakkı Altunbezer, one of the late Ottoman calligraphers. The art of illumination was used in the decorations. It is adorned with stones of turquoise. A 22 micron coating has been applied on the golden helmet. The helmet is in very good condition.

Two 19 th century Ottoman pendents made of metal. They are in good condition The dimentions are 15 by 2 cm and 12 by 4.5 cm.

A porcelain vase with polychrome paintings. It is from circa 1900  and in overall in good condition. The height is 26 cm.

This large oil on canvas painting is of Mecca with the Kaaba at the centre of the picture. In wonderful morning sunrise colours the Kaaba is shown in its surroundings.  The 19-20th century painting is in very good condition. The dimensions with frame are 100 by  64,5 cm and without frame 90 by 87 cm.

A long  in turquoise /white silk. It is  decorated with birds, flowers and landscape motifs. It has pockets and is without clasp. It is in very good condition. The dimensions are 55 cm for the sleeve length of 57 cm and a total length of 105 cm.

Embroidery  of an Orientalist scene. Depicted is a market street with travelers and a Mosque in the distance. It is set in a wooden frame and in good conditio. The dimensions are 73 cm by 37 cm with frame and 67 by 31 cm without frame. 

A rare 19th-20th century beautiful Persian or Ottoman astrolabe. It is decorate with silver leaf-like designs and Arabic inscriptions. It has five parts. It made of bronze and in very good condition. 29 cm high, 20 cm diameter and 1 cm thick.

One 19th century islamic plate with Arabic text in the centre and a botanical design around the rim. It's in good condition.  Diameter 12 cm. One 19th century islamic plate with Arabic text in the centre and turquoise rim on the outside. It's in good condition.  Diameter 15,5 cm, hight 8,5 cm.

This terracotta sculpture is probably French school and 20th century. It depicts an Arab man playing an instrument. The sculpture is 23 by 20 cm.

A gouache painting by Aly ben Salem. In very good condition. Dimenssions without frame 35 by 17cm. With frame 50 by 32 cm.

A nice set of 19-20 century Chinese bottles. The three bottles recognisable blue and white are complete with stopper and in very good condition. They are 20 cm high, including the stopper, have a diameter of 8 cm and the opening is 3,5 cm. 

Two wonderful Persian or Indian portraits. The 20th century pair is are gouache miniatures 9,5 by 6,5 cm. They are in very good condition.

Two beautiful 20th century tasbih. These prayer beads are long and have 99 + 1 beads for reciting Islamic duas.

Both have red beads, of different hues, and silver tassels.

The tasbih are in good condition. The dimensions are: The red one  65 cm. The dark  red one 58 cm.

A collection of 5 old Tashbi or prayer beads. All different in the sort of the beads and the length of the cord. They are in very good condition. 

1. 33 beads of Misk-I-Amber (with a Musk smell). 29 cm. 
2. 33 beads made of Buffalo horn with almond grain. It has an Imame with three rings and Mevlevi coin. 32 cm.
3. 33 beads of bone and kuka with an Imame with three rings and a Melevi coin. 33 cm. 
4. 33 oval beads made of two colours of amber. 30 cm.
5. 33 oval beads of presses amber with two Imame. 40 cm. 

 A beautifully decorated Ottoman Tughra of Sultan Selim III  (24 December 1761 – 28 July 1808;  reign 1789 to 1807).

This painting is by the Tunisian painter Ali Bellagha (1924-2006). It depicts two musicians. The watercolor is unframed and 48 by 32 cm. It  is in  good condition. 

This beautiful Ottoman Qalam box is made of wood inlaid with mother of pearl. It is in very good condition.  Inside it has two compartments.  One with a wooden lid. 

It is from the 19^th century. The dimensions are: 33 cm wide, 21 cm high and 22 cm deep. 

A large impressive and beautiful, 20th century Islamic, hand-crafted embroidery. The intricate embroidery is the result of a labor of love by several people spending months working on it. The texts are embroidered in gilded bronze. 

FYI: the colour difference in the pictures is due to lighting. The color in the first and third picture are closest to the original.

This is a wonderful handmade embroidered Sitar. Hours of work by several skilled artists made this likeness to the Curtain of the Chamber of Felicity. The original of which is hanging in the Medeniyetleri Islam Muzesi in Istanbul. 

This sitar has a vibrant red base colour and is embroidered with gold coloured copper thread. The calligraphy on the top says:. May peace and blessings be upon you, o Imam of the pious (al-salato wa as-salamo alaika ya imamo al-motaquin). Underneath there are two cartouches with the testimony (shahadda) 'There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God’.

Dimensions: 180 by 265 cm. 17 kg.

This is a very rare piece of magnificence. The Hizaam is similar to the Hizaam of the holy Kaaba. On it, embroidered in gilded bronze lettering, are verses  (see last last picture): 1) Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 127. 2) Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 128.

It was handmade with great craftsmanship. A craft that is hundreds of years old. The embroidery is on mecca cloth, like that which is used for the Kaaba. 

Period: 20th century. Dimensions: 700 by 90 cm. Condition: good.

A 20^th century, Islamic embroidery for a door frame. It is decorated with several Islamic inscriptions in copper thread.

In very good condition. Dimensions: 240 cm high, 150 cm wide.

Two Ottoman, copper axes. Sparsely decorated at the top and the end. 

In reasonable condition. Dimensions: Axe 1 (top) handle 102 cm, head 26 cm high, 15 cm wide.  Axe 2 Handle 98 cm, head 18 cm high, 21 cm wide.

Two axes made of copper, decorated in silver. One is of Persian heritage, the other Mughal. Both decorated with etchings. Some text mostly figurative.

Both are in  good condition. Dimensions: Axe 1 (with 'tail')  blade 14 cm wide, 13 cm high, grip 72 cm. Axe 2 blade 19 cm wide, 19 cm high, grip 67 cm.

Complete Ottoman saddle with stirrups. Made of leather with silver decorations with etchings. The 19^th century item is in reasonably good condition for its age. Dimensions: length 49 cm, hight 35 cm, wide 40 cm.
