A beautiful 19-20th century painting of the Kaaba in an ornate gilded period frame. It is a gouache on paper, signed in Ottoman Turkish.

Condition: The frame has had damage with some restorations. The paining has some small flaws but nothing seriously damaging.

Handwritten Dalil al-Khairat containing dua and several Quran verses, including Al-Fatiha, Yassin, Al-Naba, Attin, Al-Falak and the beginning of Al-Bakara. 

All pages have a gold ruler. There are several decorated pages. The decorations on the first page are very elaborate and colourful. 

It has its original leather binding that is in need of repair.

This is an authentic hand made Ikat Chapan from Uzbekistan, probably Samarkand or Boukhara.

Dur al-Mukhtar Sharh Tanweer al-Absar also called al-Dur al-Mukhtar, is a book written by Imam Muhammad Ala al-Din al-Haskafi in the year 1071 AH (1655 AD). The book is actually a commentary on another book called Tanweer al-Absar by Muhammad ibn Abd Allah Tamartashi.

The book is considered one of the most prominent treatises of the Hanafi school. The author of the book mainly discusses issues of marriage, dowry, divorce, rights and duties of spouses, endowment, gifts, last will and testament and inheritance. It has been referenced by almost all modern-day writers on Islamic law in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This book provides useful information for judges, lawyers, scholars, and students of Islamic law.

The manuscript was popular because it included original opinions in the Hanafi school of thought and contained many jurisprudential issues in a nutshell. Also, various commentaries were written on it. The edition in this collection is a rare example of this precious work.

The manuscript is handwritten in Arabic, in black and red ink, and in the Ta'lik script,  

It has 702 pages and is bound in the original leather binding. The book is 25 by 16 cm and is in very good condition.

This Ottoman Period bowl is made of copper and engraved with pen-work on the outside on the upper edge. The inscription is the names of Ahla-Albaitt (the family of prophet Mohamed ass).  

The diameter of the bowl is 23,5 cm and it is in very good condition.

This book is of the famous hadith of Imam Bukhari (194 – 256 AH / 778 - 840 AD). These books are considered the most authentic source of Islamic sciences after the Quran. This makes it of very important jurisprudential value. This edition of the book dates back to the end of the 18th century and is one part of a series of 5 written over a period of 16 years.

The manuscript is handwritten in Arabic, in black ink and Naskh script. It is bound in its original leather binding and has a protective leather box with marbling on the outside.

The book has about 750 pages and is 23 by 15 cm.

Because the work has a protective box, the leather binding and interior of the book remain in pristine condition. The box has done its protective work and has some damage, it is however still in good condition, especially considering its age.

This 18th century Ottoman manuscript, is a summary of the Rituals of Hajj.  The book is in its original leather binding and written in black ink, in Naskh script. All pages are framed in gold and some have golden inscriptions. 

The book was written by Sheikh Al-Jalil Muhammad Amin Al-Rafaqi, who was taught by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Kashif Hawaja in the year 1208 AH (1792 AD). 

It is 10 by 8 cm and has about 80 pages.

Although the corner of the first page is torn, the manuscript is in good condition especially considering its age.

An 18th century Ottoman manuscript written in black ink, Thuluth calligraphy, and decorated with gold. It contains several surahs such as Al-An’am, Yasin, Surat Al-Naba’. It also includes the Most Beautiful Names of God, and prayers upon the Messenger. 

The heads of the suras are plated with gold and all pages are lined with gold. 

The manuscript was written by the honorable sheikh Hafez Bakr al-Shawqi, who studied on the authority of sheikh Raji Zadeh in the year 1210 AH (1795 AD).

The book contains about 240 pages, it has its original leather binding that is decorated with the sun and panels. 

It is 10 by 7 cm and in good condition.

This Ottoman period manuscript narrates the importance of seeking knowledge in Islam and the honor it attains with God. It is handwritten by Ibrahim Hakki Effendi. He was a student on the authority of Sheikh Ali bin Hassan Al-Kalisi, 1323 AH (1905 AD).

The book is written in Talik script, all pages are decorated with a golden ruler and inscriptions engraved in gold.

It has 12 pages and is covered with cloth and it is 22 by 14 cm. 

The manuscript is complex but perfectly legible.

This Arabic, handwritten, manuscript of the Hadith of Science was written by Sheikh Hassan bin Bilal in the year 1226 AH (1811 AD).

The book is based on the science of Ebu Isa Muhammed b. Isa b. Sevre (Yezîd) at-Tirmidhi ((year 279 AH / 892 AD). He was one of the most prominent scholars of his time in the science of Hadith. And this work is one of the most valuable works written by him.

The book has a leather binder covered with marbling and has about 80 pages.

The verse starts in the Ottoman lamp form on the right.

It is a first edition and was printed in London. A rare find and a valuable book, that was used as a reference book in the Ottoman schools and institutes of that era.

It is signed by Ali Mohamed Mouhir Ali and dated 1275 AH (1859 AD). 

The book contains 22 pages. It is clearly of age and has been used for its purpose, and still in very good condition.

This authentic Ottoman table clock has a numbers in Ottoman. The calendar part is in Turkish. The clock was made in 1928. This was in the period of the transition from old Turkish to new Turkish, which resulted in this unique hybrid form. The clock is handmade and still in working order.

The back of the clock as a little period restauration. In all it has markes of being used, but in reasonably good condition for an almost 100-year-old daily used apparatus.
